So I have become really good friends with the two girls that work at my Hostal. Elli & Caty. they are a lot of fun and help me practice Spanish and I help them with their English.
They asked me if I wanted to go rafting ( for like 15$). Because I dont have much planned and I am sort of waiting around to see what I could do I said yes.
Like hello I am such a scary cat, I wouldnt go rafting in Canada, but in Peru? What was I think.
So we went, Elli, Caty and Tom ( another dude that has been at the Hostal for a while) . It was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fun. It lasted about an hour and a half. We were all four in one boat and there was another group. the boat of the other group fell over
We did really well but Tom fell in once. The other two girls are kinda young so they kinda panicked I pulled him back in the boat.
I think all those years of canoeing with the rents did me good because our guide told me I had a really good stroke and really knew how to row :)
Jorge ( the guide) went and told Tom that he owed me a beer because I saved his life
