In Canada, May has always been my favourite month. The trees start to blossom, the birds sing. We start to remember why we tough through our rough winters. . All of our terrible freezing -20, never ending shovelling months are behind us and the May sun starts to warm our hearts with hope again. Hope that helps us appreciate our beautiful country and its seasons. Hope that gives us a sweet taste of the delicious warm summer months ahead.
I could use some rays of hope today. It is cold and rainy here. I left my room with my thermos of hot chocolate and fill my cup every half hour. For now this cup of chocolate will be my little ray of May sunshine. It is as comforting as a hug from your mother.

Yeh seriously, herethe Richeleau valley is flooded - most water since 100yrs. We had 3 days of sun and now it will be another solid week of rain. We are all growing webbed feet.
